For the third installment of this four-part webinar series, we welcome back José Úrbez-Torres, a Research Scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, along with two international guests - Jonathan Kaplan, an economist at the California State University Sacramento, and David Gramaje, a plant pathologist from the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ICVV) in Rioja, Spain. These individuals will present on the emerging issue of grapevine trunk diseases (GTD) in Canada and internationally - what trunk diseases are, economic impacts, control strategies at the nursery level and young vineyards, and the current situation of GTD in Canada.
