Brix and Acidity for the Week of 15 September 2026

Friday, September 18, 2026

 Good Afternoon Dear Growers!

Please see the Brix and Acidity values for this week in the table below:

Sugar accumulation is moving up slowly. The best way to optimize the heat, daylight and time we have left before harvest is to DELEAF the fruit zone- from both sides at this point.

Drop the small clusters above the fruit zone. This will also help focus soluble solid accumulation in the clusters you want- in the fruit zone.

We have observed grape splitting in Pinot Noir, Osceola, Lucy K and Leon Millot - most likely other cultivars as well. So again, spray Milstop and KMS; they will help alleviate some of the disease pressure.

If you require a site visit, please reach out.

Thank you again for your time this week, and see you in the field.
Cheers!
